About Kelvin Betances

I enjoy and excel at finding ways to leverage technology, whether it's software, web, or marketing to help deliver value and growth. As a software engineer at heart, I enjoy architecting business solutions that accomplish our goals.

My experience as a freelancer so far has allowed me to work with business owners of all sizes and industries, helping them solve various business problems related to marketing technology and web development. I've primarily focused on SEO and business development the past 4-5 years, in which I've analyzed complex search engine keyword datasets, researched trend and competitive data, developed and executed many successful marketing campaigns, managed relationships with various different teams in copywriting, branding, graphic design, and also implemented technical website overhauls in order to drive my client's web traffic upwards and establish a solid online presence. Through my endeavors, I've seen most of my clients scale upwards and grow tremendously.

I'm one of Upwork's best rated, most effective, and highest earning SEO experts. Maintaining a 100% JSS over thousands of hours of work done and hundreds of projects is no easy feat! I pride myself on my value added and great client relationships.

My previous work with Pfizer as a business technology analyst was also the foundation for my skills today and has been particularly rewarding, as I spearheaded several projects that helped the company save over 12 million dollars annually. Specifically, I managed the creation of an IoT, preventative maintenance, machine learning system that live monitored HVAC machine signals at Pfizer's largest US manufacturing plant, analyzed currently developing and past trends of production failure, and alerted the teams of any potentially developing issues. If a production machine did shut down, not only would it have it be repaired, but millions in lost production would be lost. I managed everything, from being the liaison between the VP of Business Tech at Pfizer, working with the manufacturing leads to design a solution that best helps them, and working with the in-house technology teams in seeing our plans come to life. I have a keen eye for detail, am highly analytical, and I'm able to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.

When I'm not working, I greatly enjoy travelling, hiking, and photography.
